My Story
MacKenzie was born in Iowa, but her family moved to Texas when she was young. I grew up moving around the DFW metroplex due to her involvement in athletics during childhood. I was exposed to the family business of real estate and remodeling early on, as my dad has been a KW agent for over 20 years.

After graduating from high school, I moved to Lubbock to attend Texas Tech University. I majored in Public Relations and minored in General Business and Interior Design, and I loved every minute of my time in Lubbock. I learned a lot, met some of my best friends, and enjoyed the southern living of West Texas. While I was involved in a lot of organizations on campus, I also freelanced graphic design for the school newspaper and photography for sororities and the Texas Tech rugby team.

After college, I was eager to start my career and find a role that would utilize all my random skills and experience. That's when Bill Webb reached out and told me about his grand idea for a "LeveragePlus department". After trying to find a job in the heat of COVID, it was a god-wink when I was offered the role of Director of Communication for KW Central and to lead the marketing department for LeveragePlus.

After a little over a year, we had the opportunity to take a risk and launch LeveragePlus as its own company. It was a big step, but I felt a strong push from the Lord to say "yes!" and I'm so glad we did. My new role as Director of Operations was a chance to continue doing what I loved, supporting the agents I've connected with, while also growing in business and personally.

Among the vast and countless rewards that the real estate industry provides, I have found that the opportunity to serve agents who have turned into friends has been one of the most fulfilling. I feel grateful every day to be a part of this community, and I look forward to what the future holds.

What do you love about your job:
The people. I love having a personal relationship with them, supporting them, learning from them, and most importantly - celebrating their wins. Nothing makes me happier than an agent that takes the time to come tell me a success they had - whether we had a part in it or not. It’s always my favorite…you should come tell me your success story some time ;)
What is a fun fact about yourself?
Probably the only interesting fact about me... I was an elite-level gymnast for almost a decade. I had 3 major surgeries that eventually pushed me into retirement at the old age of 16.
